What we collect, and what we do not
What we collect
Your business name and first name, the answers you give to the diagnostic questions, and the business characteristics you select: sector, years operating, workforce size, turnover band, the resource that constrains delivery, and your ownership horizon.
If you ask us to send or discuss your results we also collect your email address, and your phone number, website, ABN and postcode where you choose to provide them.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for your personal net worth, your personal financial position, or any dollar figure from your business. You can complete the Business Blueprint and receive a useful result without disclosing a single commercially sensitive number.
We do not ask whether you or your business are Indigenous. The Business Blueprint is a commercial diagnostic and that information is not required for it.
Why we collect it
The business characteristics change which questions you are asked and how your answers are interpreted. Without them the result would be generic.
Contact details are used only to send you the report you asked for, and to contact you about your results if you ask us to.
How your result is produced
Your answers are scored by a fixed set of rules. The conclusions are drawn from a defined library of commercial interpretations, each of which cites the answers it rests on. The same answers always produce the same result, and the result can be reproduced from your stored responses.
No conclusion is generated freely. Nothing is written about your business that is not supported by an answer you gave.
Marketing
We do not add you to any marketing list because you completed the Business Blueprint. Marketing consent is asked for separately, it is optional, and declining it does not change your result or your report.
You can ask us to delete your submission and contact details at any time.
Scope
The Business Blueprint provides general commercial information only. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice, it does not take account of your personal circumstances or objectives, and it is not a valuation, an audit or a certification of your business.
Regional Advantage Group identifies commercial questions and their economic implications. Matters outside that scope are for appropriately qualified and licensed advisers to validate.
This is not a certification, an assessment of Indigenous status, an accreditation, or a government-endorsed tool.
